Our client, an industry leader in Hamilton, is currently seeking a Talented Material Handler to join their winning team.
The Material Handler responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Accurately enter data into inventory management system - Pick and pack shipments. Confirm products are accurately packaged prior to shipment - Maintain detailed and accurate records of received products. Responsible for bringing any kind of discrepancies to appropriate management personnel. - Some heavy lifting is involved. - Prepare shipping records and maintain a detailed record of all shipments. - Perform quality assurance checks on all products prior to being shipped. - Distribute items into appropriate areas within the warehouse. - Check received shipments against purchase orders and report any discrepancies. - Assist in training other employees in shipping processes. - Other duties as assigned. Salary:
$40,000/year. Requirements: - Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills - Must be physically able of lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. - University degree is mandatory. - Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, professional image at all times - Superior time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Must be flexible to work both days and afternoon shifts.
